  • Gets radar tech, 60-litre panniers and heated rider equipment
  • Asian-market rollout is scheduled from April 2027

Ducati has revealed the touring-focused flagship Multistrada V4 S Grand Tour within the regular Multistrada V4 family. European deliveries begin in November 2026, while distribution to Asian markets will start from April 2027. Considering Ducati’s existing Multistrada portfolio here, an Indian introduction around April or May 2027 looks realistic.

The V4 Grand Tour version concentrates on the equipment riders require for covering long distances. It starts with the Multistrada V4 S and effectively bundles together many of the touring and safety options. The most obvious additions are the colour-matched side cases which provide a combined 60 litres of storage. Centre stand is standard, as are heated grips and heated seats for both rider and passenger. There is also a hands-free fuel cap, auxiliary LED lights, tyre-pressure monitoring and a rear fog lamp.

The electronics package is similarly comprehensive with the Grand Tour getting Ducati’s radar system as standard, bringing Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection and Forward Collision Warning. Current Multistrada V4 S sold in India can already be equipped with radar-based assistance, but on the Grand Tour it forms part of the motorcycle’s core specification.

Ducati Multistrada V4 Riding

Underneath, the familiar V4 Granturismo 1,158cc liquid-cooled V4 produces 168bhp and 124Nm. Ducati combines this with a counter-rotating crankshaft and Extended Cylinder Deactivation which can shut down the rear cylinder bank under certain riding conditions rather than only when stationary.

Pricing is still unknown for India. The standard Multistrada V4 S currently starts at Rs 31.23 lakh (all mentioned prices are ex-showroom India) rising to Rs 31.54 lakh in Thrilling Black and Rs 32.91 lakh in Arctic White. The Multistrada V4 Rally begins at Rs 32.40 lakh, while the V4 Pikes Peak costs Rs 36.90 lakh.

Given the Grand Tour’s standard radar system, integrated panniers, heated seats and grips, TPMS, auxiliary lights and other touring equipment, we expect it to be positioned around Rs 35 lakh to Rs 37 lakh, ex-showroom, when it reaches India. An Indian launch during April-May 2027 appears the most logical timeline, although Ducati India is yet to confirm the exact date.
