Hyryder and Innova Hycross led Toyota’s September sales, while gains from Rumion, Taisor and Fortuner helped cushion the decline in Glanza volumes
Toyota’s September 2026 sales breakup shows a mixed performance across its lineup. Sales stood at 25,027 units, declining 7.61% from 27,089 units in September 2025. Compared with August’s 28,410 units, volumes fell 11.91%. For July–September, Toyota recorded 83,953 units, down 1.87% from 85,550 units in Q3 2025. Interestingly, Kia has overtaken Toyota, and is now at No 5 in the ranking.
Toyota Sales Breakup Sep 2026
Hyryder remained the largest contributor, followed by Innova Hycross and Crysta. Rumion nearly tripled its year-ago tally, while Taisor and Fortuner also registered growth. However, lower volumes from Glanza, Hycross and Hyryder pulled the overall total below last year. Interestingly, facelifted Hycross has been spied testing and launch is expected by Dec this year.
Toyota Hyryder registered 7,115 units, accounting for 28.43% of the company’s September volumes. Innova Hycross followed with 4,595 units, down 28.60% against 6,436 units in September 2025. Innova Crysta recorded 3,413 units, growing marginally by 1.97% over 3,347 units a year earlier. Together, Hycross and Crysta contributed 8,008 units, or approximately 32% of Toyota’s monthly sales.
Rumion And Taisor Register Strong Growth
Fortuner ranked fourth with 3,185 units, growing 14.44% over 2,783 units in September 2025. Taisor recorded 3,097 units, growing 34.83% from 2,297 units a year earlier. It also posted an 8.17% sequential increase, making it the highest-selling Toyota model to grow on both comparisons during September.
Rumion followed with 2,481 units, up 199.28% from 829 units in September 2025. Its increase of 1,652 units was the largest absolute annual gain in Toyota’s lineup. Sales also improved 3.55% over August’s 2,396 units. Hilux registered 376 units, growing 71.69% year-on-year and 31.93% month-on-month. Camry recorded 240 units, up 75.18% annually and 23.08% sequentially.
Glanza sales fell to 189 units from 3,299 units in September 2025, a decline of 94.27%. Compared with August’s 1,480 units, volumes dropped 87.23%. This is likely due to the launch of facelifted Glanza earlier this month. Ebella contributed 166 units, down 55.38% from August’s 372 units. Vellfire recorded 112 units, growing 4.67% year-on-year and 41.77% sequentially. Land Cruiser 300 rounded off the lineup with 58 units, compared with 27 units a year earlier and 39 units in August.
