Honda ADV160’s brochure details its E85-compatible engine, equipment and dimensions, although seat height, mileage and some other specifications remain unlisted

Honda launched ADV160 in August at a starting price of Rs 1.70 lakh. While detailed specifications were expected closer to its original October 2026 delivery timeline, deliveries have since been delayed until after New Year 2027. Its full brochure has now surfaced on Honda’s official website, providing a closer look at the adventure-styled scooter.

Honda ADV160 – Engine And Specifications

Set to compete with Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero Xoom 160, ADV160 combines a liquid-cooled engine with traction control, connected instrumentation and practical storage features. Powering ADV160 is a 156.93cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve engine producing 12 kW, or approximately 16.32 PS, at 8,750 rpm and 14.9 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

It is paired with a CVT automatic transmission and features Honda’s PGM-FI fuel injection, eSP+ technology, Idling Stop System and ACG silent starter. Honda describes ADV160 as India’s first E85 flex-fuel scooter. It supports ethanol blends ranging from E20 to E85, giving buyers greater fuel flexibility. However, the brochure does not provide fuel-efficiency figures for different blends.

Storage, Wheels And Safety Features

Practicality is a key focus, with Honda claiming segment-leading capacities for ADV160’s 8.1-litre fuel tank and 27-litre underseat storage. Front fuel filling allows refuelling without opening the seat, while a separate front storage compartment houses a 15W USB-C charging port.

ADV160 colours on offer are Mat Dune Brown, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Athletic Blue Metallic and Mat Axis Gray Metallic.

What Details Are Still Missing?

Despite the detailed brochure, some useful specifications remain unlisted. Seat height is a notable omission for buyers assessing accessibility, while mileage figures would help establish running costs. Suspension travel and adjustment details would also offer a clearer understanding of ADV160’s hardware. With customer deliveries now expected in 2027, buyers still await a fuller picture of ownership costs and everyday usability.
