The Kawasaki Versys 900 is the Japanese manufacturer’s new middleweight touring motorcycle. Here’s a look at the images of the motorcycle.

The design of the Kawasaki Versys 900 is pretty interesting. It has the visual mass of an adventure without being overtly bulky like the Versys 900.

Powering the bike is a 948cc, inline-four, liquid-cooled engine derived from the Z900. It produces 120bhp at 9,500rpm and 97.3Nm at 8,000rpm.This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a standard quickshifter.

In terms of safety features, the bike gets ride modes, cornering traction control, cornering ABS and more. The talking point, however, is radar based adaptive cruise control and blind-spot detection.
Under the bodywork, there is a new steel frame. It is suspended by a 43mm USD fork and a monoshock with rebound and preload adjustment. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, fitted with Metzeler Roadtec 01 tyres. Braking is handled by twin discs at the front and a disc at the rear.

The Kawasaki Versys 900 is expected to go on sale in India in a few months.
