New-gen Jeep Compass Electric Patented

Introduced last year, the new, 3rd-gen Jeep Compass is currently focused on markets like Europe, Australia, Middle East and New Zealand

Even though there are currently no plans outlined for the launch of the new-gen Jeep Compass in India, recently filed design patent images offer a glimmer of hope. But it could as well be just an exercise to protect intellectual property rights.

It has been reported earlier that it was commercially unviable to introduce the 3rd-gen Compass in India. However, the automotive landscape is evolving rapidly, and shifts in market strategy are not uncommon. Jeep has also planned a new made in India SUV by 2028, which will be based on Tata Motors platform.
