Honda Elevate CVT base variant is called V CVT and is reaching showrooms and is proving to be a VFM alternative over established rivals.
Honda recently launched the 2026 Elevate facelift with prices starting at Rs 11.80 lakh. The SUV is available in five broad trims – SV, V, VX, ZX and ZX+. Considering the demand for automatic transmission models in the 4.2m – 4.5m SUV segment, all variants of the Elevate facelift above the base SV trim offer a CVT option. CVT starts with the V trim, priced at Rs 13.79 lakh. A walkaround video provides detailed information on the new Elevate V CVT variant.
Exterior details
Honda Elevate V CVT variant gets most of the exterior updates introduced with the facelift. Key highlights include a new grille in a glossy black finish, projector headlamps and dual-function LED DRLs. Honda logo placed earlier on the grille has been shifted onto the bonnet. While higher variants have a full width LED strip, the V CVT gets only a design element without illumination.
Fog lamps are not available, although the housings give the impression that they are there. Bumper section uses slatted elements and is integrated with a skid plate-style element. Side profile is largely the same as earlier. Key highlights include squared wheel arches, body cladding, body coloured conventional door handles and dual-tone ORVMs.
Elevate V CVT variant has 16-inch steel wheels and wheel covers as standard. This variant does not get features like a sunroof and roof rails. At the rear, key features include a shark fin antenna, roof mounted spoiler, defogger, high mounted brake lights, parking sensors and dual-tone bumper. Tail lamps are in connected format, but without the full-width illumination. Boot space is quite good at 458 litres, although there is no boot light. Spare wheel specs are the same as the other four units used.
Cabin space, features
Inside, Honda Elevate V CVT variant has a dual-tone theme of black and grey. ORVMs are electrically adjustable, although fold and unfold function is manual. Other highlights include driver seat with 6-way manual adjustment, steering mounted control, tilt and telescopic steering, manual IRVM, engine start/stop and traction control. The SUV has a semi-digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Key highlights on the second row include rear AC vents, ISOFIX child seat mounts, Type C charging ports, 60:40 seats and three adjustable headrests. Elevate has spacious interiors with ample headroom and legroom for all passengers.
Performance
Honda Elevate facelift continues with the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine as earlier. It generates 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque. The V trim has transmission options of a 6-speed manual and a CVT. Rated fuel efficiency is 15.31 km/l with the MT variant and 16.61 km/l with the CVT. Paddle shifters are available with the CVT variant. Overall, the V CVT variant has all the essential features covered and could be a good option for budget-oriented buyers.
