- Three colour combinations globally
Kawasaki Z900 gets an update for the 2027 model year with a fresh selection of colours. It will be available globally in three colour combinations, Ebony with Metallic Carbon Gray, Candy Persimmon Red with Metallic Carbon Gray and Pearl Blizzard White with Plasma Lime Green and Ebony. For India, MY27 introduction with at least some of these new shades appears quite possible, although Kawasaki India has made no announcement yet.
Of the three the Pearl Blizzard White catches the eye. Kawasaki green and black is hardly an unusual pairing, but placing the bright green detailing over a predominantly white motorcycle gives the Z900 a fresher appearance.
Mechanically, there is no major update. That is hardly surprising because the current generation received a substantial overhaul only recently.
The motorcycle continues with its 948cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine producing 122bhp and 98.6Nm. You get it with a bidirectional Kawasaki Quick Shifter, electronic cruise control, selectable power modes, three-mode traction control and an IMU-supported electronic rider-assistance package.
Kawasaki has also confirmed that the Z900 SE continues internationally for 2027.
It receives a separate Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray, Metallic Matte Carbon Gray and Golden Blazed Green colour combination in the company’s announcement. The SE retains its higher-specification hardware, including Brembo front brakes and an Ohlins rear shock. That one is not for India though.
