  • Based on the 690 Enduro R
  • Gets 20 litre fuel tank capacity
  • 235mm (front) and 250mm (rear) suspension travel

KTM has unveiled the 2027 690 Rally for the international markets. It is based on the 690 Enduro R platform but comes with a host of changes to be as capable for long-distance travel as for off-road abuse. It is essentially a spiritual successor to the 640 Adventure, which was discontinued in 2007.

The KTM 690 Rally is powered by a 692cc, single-cylinder LC4 engine that produces around 78bhp and 73Nm of torque. The motorcycle gets a dedicated rally tower with an integrated windscreen and three fuel tanks. This includes the standard 13-litre tank and two front-mounted 3.5-litre tanks, taking the total fuel capacity to around 20 litres.

Suspension duties are handled by fully adjustable WP XPLOR units at both ends with 235mm and 250mm of travel at the front and rear, respectively. Braking hardware includes a 300mm front disc with a Brembo twin-piston caliper and a 240mm rear disc. The 690 Rally also gets a dedicated Rally (optional) mode that allows riders to adjust the traction control and throttle response depending on the terrain. Other features include off-road ABS, KTM Quickshifter+, and a 4.2-inch TFT display.

The KTM 690 Rally is expected to reach European dealerships in October 2026. Pricing has not been announced yet. Since none of the KTM 690 models has ever come to India, the chances of the Rally coming to our shores are negligible.
