New Bajaj Pulsar NS200

Dealer promotions reveal a larger upgrade for the Pulsar NS200, with a quickshifter, electronic throttle, traction control and four ride modes among the listed features.

Bajaj’s Pulsar update spree continues, with select dealerships now announcing bookings for the updated NS200. This follows its showroom sighting last month. While the earlier images highlighted a new instrument console and upgraded suspension, dealer material now points to a more extensive equipment update.

A poster shared by Tarun Bajaj showcases the motorcycle in Nardo Grey and lists several additions, including a quickshifter, traction control, electronic throttle and four ride modes. It also advertises an output of 25.5 PS.

Quickshifter Makes Its Way To The 200cc Pulsar Range

One of the biggest highlights is the quickshifter. Having offered this feature on the larger NS400Z, Bajaj now appears to be bringing it to the 200cc Pulsar range. This would be a significant addition for the NS200, strengthening its appeal among buyers looking for a more engaging riding experience.

The dealer poster does not specify whether the quickshifter supports both upshifts and downshifts. However, its inclusion alongside an electronic throttle body, listed as ETB, points to a more comprehensive electronics package. Traction control and four ride modes are also mentioned.

5-Inch TFT With Google Maps Mirroring

The updated NS200 gets a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with Google Maps mirroring. New switchgear accompanies the display, allowing riders to navigate its functions. This follows Bajaj’s wider rollout of its new TFT console across the Pulsar lineup. The NS400Z TFT variant was launched earlier this month, while the NS200 now appears to be moving closer to its own formal introduction.

Other features listed in the dealer photo include USB Type-C charging, a hazard switch and a panic brake alert. An adjustable lever is also mentioned, although the poster does not clarify whether adjustment is available for both the clutch and brake levers.

USD Forks, Radial Tyres And Nardo Grey Colour

On the hardware front, the dealer lists 37 mm USD front forks and radial tyres. Earlier spyshots revealed WP Apex branding on the NS200’s forks, making suspension another key part of this update.

The Nardo Grey motorcycle shown in the images combines grey bodywork with black panels, red graphics and bright red alloy wheels. Large ‘200’ graphics feature on the tank extensions, while the familiar muscular tank, split seats and compact exhaust retain the NS200’s recognisable appearance.

Bookings Begin As Pulsar Updates Continue

The NS200 joins a busy sequence of Pulsar developments, spanning the new N160 variants, the overhauled Pulsar 125 and 150, and the NS400Z TFT. An updated RS200 has also been spotted testing with USD forks and a new display, indicating that Bajaj’s equipment upgrades are spreading further across the range.

For now, the booking announcement is at the dealership level. With motorcycles already seen at showrooms and dealers now inviting bookings, the updated NS200 appears to be approaching launch with a substantially broader feature package.
