Skoda Auto India has brought back Octavia RS with a second limited batch of 50 units, but enthusiasts will now have to pay considerably more. The new batch is priced at Rs 56.69 lakh ex-showroom, representing a steep Rs 6.70 lakh or 13.4% increase over the Rs 49.99 lakh price announced when the performance sedan was launched in November 2025.
Octavia RS continues to arrive in India as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) and retains the same 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine producing 265 PS and 370 Nm, paired with a 7-speed DSG. Skoda says the first batch received demand significantly exceeding availability, and the second allocation is again restricted to just 50 cars.
Three Colours For Second Batch
The new batch will be available in three colours – Mamba Green, Velvet Red and Magic Black. Exterior highlights include Full LED Matrix headlamps, LED tail lamps with dynamic indicators, gloss black elements and 19-inch Elias anthracite alloy wheels wrapped in 225/40 R19 tyres.
Inside, Octavia RS gets Suedia Leather upholstery with red contrast stitching and electrically adjustable sports front seats with memory, heating and massage functions. Other equipment includes Virtual Cockpit, ambient lighting, three-zone climate control and wireless charging.
A 32.77 cm infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while a 675W Canton audio system uses 11 speakers and a subwoofer. There’s also an electrically operated boot with a virtual pedal.
10 Airbags And ADAS
Safety equipment includes 10 airbags along with an ADAS suite offering Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking and Lane Assist. Intelligent Park Assist, 360-degree Area View camera, Head-Up Display and ISOFIX child-seat mounts are also available.
Octavia RS has a long history in India, with the original performance version arriving here in 2004. It was subsequently followed by models including Laura RS, Octavia RS 230 and Octavia RS 245. The latest iteration is the most powerful of the series offered in India, with 265 PS on tap. Specifications remain familiar – 0-100 km/h takes 6.4 seconds and top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
Skoda is also highlighting the timing of the latest batch as Octavia celebrates 30 years globally. The RS badge itself dates back more than five decades, while the first production Octavia RS was introduced in 2000. Buyers get a 4-year/1,00,000 km warranty, four years of roadside assistance and four labour-free services.
