Punch EV Crosses 5,000 Monthly Sales
Punch.ev crossed the 5,000-unit monthly sales milestone in October. Tata describes it as the first standalone EV product to achieve this mark. The milestone comes alongside broader growth in its electric portfolio, with Tata stating that EV demand continues to exceed supply.
Tata also reported strong customer traction for its CNG offerings, where demand is similarly outpacing availability. The company is scaling up supply to improve product availability and cater to the higher demand.
Exports Rise To 1,532 Units
Passenger vehicle exports reached 1,532 units, compared with 161 units in October 2025. This represented an increase of 1,371 units, or 851.55%, although the percentage growth comes against a low year-earlier base. Compared with September’s 1,400 units, exports increased 9.43%. Overseas shipments accounted for approximately 2.03% of Tata’s total October passenger vehicle volumes.
Record Bookings, Stronger Retail Position
According to Tata, its overall sales growth of approximately 23% exceeded estimated industry growth of around 10% during October. Record bookings add to the demand picture, with Tata highlighting the appeal of its multi-powertrain portfolio. The focus now turns to increasing supply, particularly for EV and CNG models, as the company looks to convert that demand into further sales growth.
