January–October Sales Cross Full-Year 2025 Volumes
Kia’s cumulative wholesales reached 2,86,470 units during January–October 2026, compared to 2,36,138 units in the corresponding period last year. This represents growth of 21.31%, or an additional 50,332 vehicles.
With two months remaining in the calendar year, Kia has already exceeded its full-year 2025 sales of 2,80,286 units. Its January–October tally is ahead of that figure by 6,184 units. Average monthly volumes during the first ten months of 2026 stood at approximately 28,647 units.
Seltos And Sonet Lead Sales
The Seltos and Sonet remained the main volume contributors in October. Seltos sales crossed 13,000 units, accounting for roughly 39% of Kia’s monthly total. According to the company, the SUV has maintained average monthly sales of over 10,000 units since the latest model’s launch in January 2026.
The Carens and Carens Clavis continued to contribute to the company’s family vehicle portfolio. Kia also reported an encouraging response to the Sorento, which is offered with hybrid and diesel powertrain options.
Record EV Sales, CNG Nears 10% Share
Kia recorded its highest-ever monthly electric vehicle sales in October, with volumes growing 31% over September 2026. Both the Syros EV and Carens Clavis EV contributed to this performance.
Meanwhile, CNG variants of the Carens and Carens Clavis contributed close to 10% of Kia’s overall October sales. The growing contribution from these models broadens Kia’s sales base across petrol, diesel, CNG, hybrid and electric powertrains.
Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India, attributed the record performance to festive demand, established models and the response to newer products. He also highlighted customer interest in the Sorento’s technology and hybrid efficiency, alongside the increasing contribution from CNG and electric models.
