Triumph recently updated the Scrambler 400 X with a new colour scheme: Matt Pewter Grey/Matte Khaki band. With the addition of this new shade, the bike is now available in four colour schemes. Here’s a detailed breakdown of all the shades:
Lava Red Satin and Phantom Black
This colour scheme features a red finish on the tank, with a black stripe running through the middle. The red shade stands out quite a bit, giving the bike a bold look. The addition of the black stripe and the Triumph logo placed on the sides adds an elegant touch.
Matt Khaki Green and Fusion White
This colour scheme features a similar styling to the Lava Red Satin and Phantom Black. The green finish on the tank feels a lot more balanced, being neither too bold nor too understated. The white stripe in the middle also adds a nice contrast to the green and makes the Triumph logo stand out.
Phantom Black and Silver Ice
This shade is the most subtle one out of the four, featuring a black finish overall and a dark grey stripe running through the middle of the tank. It is suited to riders who are looking for something that looks elegant and doesn’t draw as much attention as the other shades.
Matt Pewter Grey and Matt Khaki Green
This shade is the newest addition to the Scrambler 400X, and looks slightly bolder compared to the Phantom Black and Silver Ice. It features a grey finish on the tank and a dark grey stripe running through the middle of the fuel tank. Overall, it is a shade that will appeal to riders who want something slightly understated, but still stands out.
Apart from the addition of the new shade, the bike remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to be powered by the same 349cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 36.5bhp and 32Nm.
