BMW has been working on a new adventure bike that could be its answer to the Yamaha Ténéré 700. The motorcycle was spotted testing recently, and based on the images, we have a decent idea of what to expect:
The X-shaped headlight section gives it away as a BMW, alongside the holes in the fairing where the BMW badging would be placed. Well, then there’s the BMW Motorrad jacket and riding pants that the riders are wearing. Apart from the new headlight section, the bikes overall silhouette looks quite similar to the BMW F 900 GS.

The motorcycle will be powered by a new parallel-twin platform, likely going to be a 650cc-700cc mill. We think so because the motorcycle was spotted being tested along with the Yamaha Ténéré 700 and the KTM 790 Adventure. The motor is expected to make around 75bhp and 69Nm.
Underpinnings-wise, the bike features an inverted fork and a monoshock. It rolls on tubeless spoke wheels at both ends, with braking duties taken care of by a dual-disc setup at the front and a single disc at the rear.

Like the other models in the German bike maker’s lineup, we can expect this upcoming ADV to be offered with multiple accessories. A taller windscreen, adjustable suspension, and a more comprehensive electronic riding aids suite.

The bike could be launched sometime in 2027, and the brand could unveil the bike at EICMA 2026.
