- More than 50 e-motorcycle showrooms planned across 34 Indian cities
- Dealer network will span 15 states and territories
- Charging and after-sales infrastructure are also being developed
VinFast e-motorcycles have moved another step closer to reaching Indian buyers with the Vietnamese EV manufacturer signing Letters of Intent with more than 50 dealer partners. This planned network will cover 34 cities across 15 states and territories becoming VinFast’s first dedicated distribution network for electric two-wheelers in India.
In northern India, VinFast plans to establish dealerships across Delhi NCR, Rajasthan and Punjab. Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh will form part of its central Indian network, while Maharashtra and Gujarat cover the western region.
The southern network will include Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh, while West Bengal and Odisha have been identified for eastern India. VinFast says these markets were chosen partly because of their sizeable two-wheeler populations and the potential for greater electrification.

The dealer agreements were signed at VinFast’s manufacturing complex in Hai Phong, Vietnam, during a visit by the prospective Indian partners. Visiting dealers were shown its manufacturing operations and experienced its existing electric two-wheeler presence in Vietnam before formalising the agreements.
The company entered the country’s electric vehicle market in 2025 through its electric car business, covering manufacturing, assembly and distribution. Two-wheeler expansion now gives VinFast another route into what is a considerably larger volume market.
VinFast is also working beyond simply signing dealers. Anurag Saxena, CEO of VinFast India E-Scooters, said the company is developing charging infrastructure alongside strengthening after-sales services. That will be particularly important because retail reach alone will not be enough to establish an unfamiliar electric two-wheeler brand in India. Service accessibility and charging support can have a much larger influence on ownership confidence.
VinFast’s global portfolio already covers several electric scooter formats, but the company has not yet named the India-spec models, specifications or prices. VinFast also notes that globally shown vehicles can differ from regional versions because of local regulations.
