The 2026 TVS Radeon starts at Rs 67,100, undercutting the Hero Splendor Plus. Here is how the two commuter bikes compare in terms of design, features, engines, and price.

The 2026 TVS Radeon has received a lighting and styling update, giving buyers another reason to consider it against the Hero Splendor Plus. Both motorcycles use small-capacity, air-cooled engines and four-speed gearboxes, keeping them focused on everyday commuting. However, the Radeon offers LED lighting across the range, while the Splendor Plus counters with its i3S stop-start technology on select variants and additional equipment on the XTEC models.

The 2026 TVS Radeon retains its familiar commuter silhouette, but revised graphics and new colour combinations give it a fresh appearance. Its updated lighting package includes an LED headlight with an integrated daytime running light, LED tail-light and LED turn indicators. The motorcycle also retains its single-piece seat, rear luggage rack, crash guards and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Hero Splendor Plus

The Hero Splendor Plus follows a similarly practical design, with familiar bodywork and colour options. Its appearance varies by trim: the standard version uses a conventional headlamp, whereas the Splendor Plus XTEC 2.0 gets an LED unit and revised styling details. Buyers looking for a traditional commuter will find both straightforward, but the Radeon now has LED lighting throughout its range.

The XTEC variants add features such as a digital instrument display, real-time mileage information and, on applicable versions, Bluetooth connectivity. The XTEC 2.0 also gets an LED headlamp and hazard-light function. Hero offers i3S technology on select variants, which switches off the engine during stops and restarts it when the rider operates the clutch.

TVS Radeon vs Hero Splendor Plus: Engine

The Radeon uses a 109.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 8.08bhp and 8.7Nm. It comes with a four-speed gearbox and GTT, which helps the bike move at low speeds with minimal throttle input. The Splendor Plus gets a smaller 97.2cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that develops 8bhp and 8.05Nm, paired with a four-speed gearbox. Hero claims a mileage of 70km/l with E20 fuel for the current model, though actual fuel economy will depend on riding conditions.
