After the update to Raider 125 in April 2026, TVS Motor has updated their premium commuter bike yet again. While the launch happened now, units of updated 2027 Raider 125 have started reaching showrooms from early this month. This is the second update to Raider 125 within months after its last update.
The updates are evolutionary and are seen with select higher trims like TFT DD and SXC DD. Website highlights SSE trim as new too, but the press release do not reveal anything about that. There is a slight price revision with new SXC DD variant priced at Rs 1,00,330 and new TFT DDD variant priced at Rs 1,03,330 (both prices Ex-sh).
2027 TVS Raider 125 Launched
Now that the festive season is nearing, TVS Raider 125 has been updated again to boost sales and increase footfall into the showrooms. Higher variants like TFT DD, SXC DD and SSE trims seem to have been updated, while details provided are for TFT DD and SXC DD variants. Units bearing these updates have started reaching showrooms from earlier this month.
The main addition is Traction Control System (TCS), which is not common in 125cc motorcycle segments. TCS is switchable too, allowing riders to have some fun when they choose. With TCS, riders are likely to feel more confident while braking or in tricky situations. Speaking of braking, TVS Raider now gets emergency brake warning, alerting other road users.
Another update with 2027 Raider 125 is fatter rear tyre, which is now a 120-section unit, up from 110-section. Smaller rear petal disc brake is now upgraded to a larger, but conventional disc. A USB fast-charging Type-C port is also part of the package, which outputs at 27W, allowing new-age users to charge their devices along their journey.
Turn indicators are still halogen units, even though the far less premium Radeon gets LED blinkers. Depending on the variant, Raider 125 comes with TFT instrument cluster, which supports up to 99+ connected features including navigation.
Specs, Powertrain
2027 TVS Raider 125 does not bring any mechanical changes. It still has the same 125cc air / oil cooled engine with a 3V head and a bass-y exhaust note. This engine generates around 11 bhp and 11 Nm, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Features like LED headlights, LED DRLs, LED tail lights, premium switchgear, riding modes, split seat option, telescopic front forks and rear mono-shock and other attributes are carried forward.
