- Features a distinct design
- Gets factory-fitted touring accessories
- Gets adjustable suspension at both ends
Kawasaki has launched the KLX300 XPL abroad at USD 6,499, and this new variant is a touring-focused one. It gets a unique design, with a round LED headlight that sets it apart from the other variants in the Kawasaki KLX300 lineup. There’s also a factory-fitted tall windscreen, knuckle guards, and a rear carrier as well.
It is powered by the same 233cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor producing 26.4bhp and 25Nm. The motor is paired to a six-speed gearbox. Like the 2027 Kawasaki KLX300, the internal components of the motor have been tweaked for better performance and reliability.

As part of the update, the motor gets a new connecting rod bearing design, and the previous model’s twin-radiator setup has been changed to a new single-unit.
The bike is suspended on a 43mm inverted fork with adjustable compression damping and a monoshock with preload, rebound, and compression damping. The bike rolls on a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheel setup. It has a kerb weight of 141kg (wet), and the ground clearance comes to 279.4mm.

The motorcycle looks quite promising and would have been a nice addition to the Kawasaki lineup. But so far, it is unlikely that the bike will be launched in India.
