  • Only 8 Hedonist and 8 Heroine Racer helmets will be made
  • Each helmet numbered and handcrafted to order in London

Royal Enfield has collaborated with British helmet maker Hedon to produce very exclusive limited-edition helmets. Only 16 units will be produced for worldwide market divided equally between the open-face Hedonist and full-face Heroine Racer 2.0. Every example will be individually numbered and made to order at Hedon’s London workshop. This collaboration is part of Royal Enfield’s 125th anniversary celebrations and takes inspiration from the new Bullet 650.

Exclusivity naturally comes at a considerable price. Royal Enfield Hedonist is priced at £1,650, which translates to roughly Rs 2.11 lakh. The Heroine Racer 2.0 costs £2,100, or approximately Rs 2.68 lakh at current exchange rates. These are direct currency equivalents and not official prices for India. The eventual cost for an Indian buyer could be higher once international shipping, customs duties and applicable taxes are included. Sounds very very highly unlikely you’ll ever see one.

Hedonist carries a more traditional design. Its open-face shape works well with Royal Enfield’s classic motorcycle image. The collaboration uses a cream and red automotive-grade paint finish over a chrome-patina base. Black leather lines the interior, while contrasting white leather trim continues the handcrafted theme. Shell combines fibreglass and carbon fibre rather than relying on a conventional thermoplastic construction.

Depending on size, the Hedonist weighs between roughly 850g and 1,000g. It gets Hedon’s 360-degree cushioned lining, antibacterial fabric, a stainless-steel double-D buckle and a three-channel ventilation system. It is ECE 22.06 and DOT-certified.

Heroine Racer 2.0 follows the same colour and material theme wrapping it around a full-face design. It uses the same fibreglass and carbon-fibre composite shell, cream and red automotive paint, leather interior and metal detailing, but gets an added full chin section and visor. Clear homologated visor comes as standard, while Hedon also includes a red visor with this special edition.

Weight ranges from 1,200g for smaller sizes to around 1,390g for the largest version. Heroine Racer gets a stainless-steel double-D buckle, three-channel ventilation, antibacterial interior fabric and interchangeable visor options. Like the Hedonist, it is offered with ECE 22.06 or DOT certification depending on the market.
