BSA has launched two special edition Gold Star 650 motorcycles at a starting price of Rs 3.56 lakh, ex-showoom. Called the Gold Star 650 Birmingham Blue and Brooklands Black Legacy Editions, they feature dedicated paint schemes and other cosmetic details. The Birmingham Blue edition is priced at Rs. 3.55 lakh while the Brooklands Black Legacy Edition costs Rs 3.64 lakh.
The Birmingham Blue edition features a deep blue paint scheme with a silver side-panel badge and a bespoke engine finish. The Brooklands Black Legacy Edition, meanwhile, gets a deep black colour with gold pinstriping across its chrome-finished fenders and chrome fuel tank. It also features a quilted seat and additional detailing.
The new editions draw inspiration from the British brand’s history. The Brooklands Black Legacy Edition references the Brooklands circuit. The Birmingham Blue edition pays tribute to Birmingham, the city where the brand originated.
The bikes are powered by a 652cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which produces 45bhp and 55Nm of torque. The motorcycle comes equipped with Brembo brakes, dual-channel ABS and wire-spoke wheels.
Bookings for these bikes can be done at BSA dealerships across the country.
