Sales also improved sequentially. Compared with 57,166 units in September 2026, domestic volumes increased by 5,633 units, translating into month-on-month growth of 9.85%. The increase was sufficient to offset a sequential decline in exports, allowing Hyundai to improve on September’s combined sales performance and establish a new monthly record.

Bayon To Support Further Growth

Hyundai expects the newly launched Bayon to provide additional momentum in India and overseas. Launched on October 26 at a starting price of Rs 9,99,900 (ex-showroom), Bayon expands Hyundai’s SUV portfolio between Venue and Creta.

It is powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine producing 115 PS and 143.8 Nm, paired with a six-speed manual or IVT automatic. Available equipment includes dual 12.3-inch displays, a generative AI voice assistant, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof and Level 2 Pro ADAS, depending on the variant.

Commenting on the results, Tarun Garg, Managing Director and CEO, Hyundai Motor India, described October as an exceptional month, citing festive demand and growth in domestic and export markets. He added that Bayon will support the company’s expansion across India and more than 50 export markets, reinforcing the country’s role as a manufacturing and export hub.
