The TVS Raider has received a new safety feature in the form of traction control. This feature is available in the TFT DD and SXC DD variants of the Raider. In addition to traction control, the bikes also get an Emergency Brake Warning system. These variants of the TVS Raider are priced at Rs 1 lakh for the SXC DD and Rs 1.03 lakh for the TFT DD. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

The TVS Raider is the first motorcycle in the 125cc segment to feature a traction control system. The system is designed to help riders maintain control when the rear wheel loses grip on slippery surfaces or on loose gravel. Emergency Brake Warning is another addition, alerting vehicles behind when the rider brakes suddenly to help reduce the risk of a collision.

The updated motorcycle also gets a wider rear tyre, which is said to improve grip and stability. It also features a 27W USB Type-C fast charger.

Mechanically, there are no changes. It is powered by a 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 11.2bhp and 11.2Nm of peak torque.

The updated TVS Raider TFT DD and SXC DD variants will be available across authorised TVS dealerships.
