  • To be unveiled on 28 October 2026

Moto Guzzi has announced the unveiling date for the upcoming Trip 500 retro roadster. The brand shared the announcement via social media, and the upcoming bike will be revealed on 28 October 2026. It could also be showcased at EICMA 2027.

The motorcycle’s name was previously revealed in patent filings, and now, with the social media announcement, we have official confirmation. The motorcycle will be based on the Aprilia 457 platform, but with some changes made to its design and underpinnings.

From the images, we can see that the motorcycle has a round LED headlight setup, with the Moto Guzzi logo. It also features a muscular tank, but no tank extensions like the Tuono 457.

The bike will use the same 457cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine as the Tuono 457 and the Aprilia RS 457. The motor produces 47.6bhp and 43.5Nm on the Aprilia Tuono 457. But Moto Guzzi could go with a different state of tune to suit the retro roadster’s character.

The underpinnings have been slightly revised, with the rear suspension- an offset single-shock absorber- mounted on the swingarm. The revised suspension should result in slightly altered handling dynamics compared to the Tuono 457. So far, it is too early to tell if this upcoming retro roadster will come to India or not.
