  • Limited to just 100 units each worldwide
  • Nurburgring Green paint, carbon wheels and M Track Package come standard
  • Individually marked airbox covers and special Alcantara-style seats

BMW M 1000 RR, M 1000 R and M 1000 XR get these super exclusive special 100 Jahre Nurburgring editions to celebrate a century of one of the world’s most demanding race circuits. BMW Motorrad says ordering and market availability will be disclosed separately. Each model will be limited to just 100 examples worldwide with Nurburgring-specific details, alongside the standard M Track Package.

Nordschleife measures 20.8km, contains 73 corners and combines large elevation changes with constantly changing surfaces and corner types. BMW’s motorcycle connection with the circuit dates to 1927 when the brand recorded its first victory there. Today, the circuit continues to be used to develop chassis, brakes, aerodynamics, powertrains and thermal management.

The M 1000 RR is the most obvious fit as BMW’s most uncompromising supersport offering developed around racetrack performance, aerodynamic efficiency and lightweight construction.

M 1000 R hyper-naked M motorcycle offers you superbike levels of output with upright ergonomics and minimal bodywork. Nurburgring edition therefore gives riders the same collector-focused treatment without forcing them into the committed riding position of the RR.

Then there is the M 1000 XR, arguably the most unusual member of the trio. It combines high-speed stability and serious performance with the more accommodating ergonomics expected from a crossover. Of the three, it is the one that can realistically mix long-distance riding with the sort of outright pace associated with BMW’s M badge.

The coolest thing here is the historical Nurburgring Green Hell paint. BMW has developed the colour specifically for the 100 Jahre Nurburgring models, and it appears across the three motorcycles with dedicated anniversary graphics. The fuel tank gets a painted silhouette of the Nordschleife. The airbox cover carries further anniversary graphics and, importantly, a ‘one of 100’ marking.

Carbon wheels are also standard across all three anniversary motorcycles. These receive Nurburgring Green accent stripes. The rear swingarm and rear subframe are finished in black, helping the green paint stand out further. Seat gets changed too. All three get an Alcantara-look finish with an embroidered ‘100’ graphic.

BMW includes the M Track Package as standard across all three. The company describes it as the performance package intended to maximise racetrack focus, which is particularly fitting on editions celebrating the Nurburgring.

Owners of all three bikes also get a dedicated M motorcycle mat carrying the 100 Jahre Nurburgring logo, along with a rear paddock stand and the required swingarm mounts.
